Heading to the Toronto Golf Show

Toronto Golf Show logoThe Toronto Golf & Travel Show does not generally disappoint. It is a mecca of golf for three days at the International Centre by Pearson International Airport! With 100s of booths, there is something for everyone. This will be my fourth year in a row heading to this great event and I am stoked to start my trip.

This year my buddy Blair is making the 3.5 hour drive, one way, with me to take in his first golf show. We are leaving at 0 dark 30 to get there before the gates open at noon.

Blair and I discussed what to expect and we made a plan. First, we hit the outside wall. This is where all the club demos are where we can hit balls using all the new gear. By going there first, we will not have to wait in line, just hit away.

Next, we will strategically walked through the maze of everything golf, it was easy to get swept up in the excitement of all the golfing possibilities. So keeping a pattern will ensure that we do not miss anything.

As we walk through all the vendors and travel booths, we will pick up some swag along the way. Personally, I will be carrying a backpack to put all my new-found treasures and I will fill out various forms in attempts to win a prize. This year might be my lucky year!

Another highlight will be meeting Mike Johnny from 36aday golf blog at the Snell Golf booth. Mike and I have talked a tremendous amount about golf over the past few years and it will great to finally meet him!

Today will be a great golf day. I am grateful that my friend Blair is making the trip with me; it will definitely pass the time as we chat about golf. Stay tuned for my post on my experiences and follow me on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram as I chronicle my adventure. (the links are at the top of this page on the right)

I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!

  1. Aloha Jim,
I will be looking forward to your posts from the show. Sounds like you and Blair will have a great time. I guess it pays to go with a show veteran, you have a plan … a rookie like me would not have thought of that. Enjoy the show and say Hi to Mike for me.
    A Hui Hou,
    Wayne
