Putting Tip

Confidence While Putting!Putting is more difficult than it sounds.  To make square contact or putt the ball on its intended line; focus on the tip – Back 6 – Forward 12.

What does this mean:  ensure your putter head follows through twice as far as you take it back.  This will allow for solid ball striking and a greater chance the ball will travel on its intended line.  I find that by focusing on this tip, I decrease the number of putts per round.  It is a great way to lower your score.

Give it a try and tell me what you think.

Finishing with a Birdie!

First Tee at Laurentide

First Tee at Laurentide

Today was excellent.  It started out cool and foggy, but turned into a bright sunny day.  I slashed around for a smooth (okay not so smooth) 75.  What made the day excellent was the last hole.  It is a long par 5 and after two shots I ended up just in front of the green.  Using my 60 degree wedge, I pitched the ball up to within 6 inches.  Tap in birdie.  What a great way to finish the round!

Golfing At Laurentide

Today was awesome! My best shot of the day was a 240 yard second shot into a par 5 that made the green! It was fantastic to hit the links. I am a grateful golfer!
