Regardless of where your ball comes to rest on the golf course it is important to think about the shot in hand and what you want your next shot to look like. This ‘next shot strategy’ is universal and can be applied to many sports and recreational activities. Unfortunately, like a chess match, many of us solely focus on the current play and disregard the follow on shots. This one dimensional thinking is a challenge as it usually leads to ‘no trouble doubles’. Hitting the Ball Or Turf First In Your Golf Swing

Flipping our hands through contact is a definite no-no in golf. This statement is nothing new and many golfers understand this concept. Knowing what not to do is often as important as knowing what to properly do during our golf swing. From time to time I make poor contact with my irons (actually more often than I want) because I am hitting behind the ball. This poor swing action is caused by several different reasons, but one is more apparent than the others. It is a know swing fault, but for some reason I cannot avoid this mistake.
