It is the time of year where my golf swing starts to show signs of wear and tear. I have played a fair bit this year and come September, I find my longing to rush to the course waning. This is nothing new because my other life interests (coaching basketball at the local high school and preparing our yard for winter) start to take a leading role in how I spend my time. Hitting The Turn Around Golf Shot
Playing golf is exciting, frustrating, gob smacking, and rewarding all at the same time. Depending on the round, sometimes we need that one shot that turns your entire round into something special. Talk about the definition of insanity.

Putting is the great equalizer. It is the one stroke that can change the fortunes of your round. Putting is a huge topic at this blog and I have tried to present different ways for players to improve on the short grass. Improving our putting is no epiphany for any player, but it seems to be one that I keep revisiting because of its importance. Today’s point deals with hitting the ball past the hole. For this drill, Jordan Spieth comes to mind and his unique putting style a few years back.
