I watched the Women’s World Curling Championship last weekend (Canada won 🙂 ) and a crazy idea popped into my head. During the curling game, each team has 38 minutes to thinking time over the space of a two hour game. The details on how the timing is applied is not important, but what it does is forces teams to play at a certain pace and not waste time talking a chatting about every shot thrown. Club Selection – Not Just A Routine Act In Golf
Initially, when readers think club selection they might thing about the types of golf clubs available to purchase. This is not a bad train of thought if you are looking for something new to help improve your game. Personally, I think buying new equipment is overrated, but that is a discussion for another day. It seems to be the nature of telling golf stores and for them most part, I am comfortable with the minor exaggerations. It is all in fun and part of being an amateur golfer. There are times when remembering the exact details of a golf shot are important and will make the difference between a par and double bogey. Let me explain!
