Sometimes it is important to take the time and just think about my golf game. Today is one of those days. I have no sage advice or musings, but I do want to leave you with just one thought:

As a parent, I have always found it fun to watch my daughter open her presents at Christmas. The smile on her face and joy she expressed was enough present for me. She is older now, but that feeling I have watching joy expressed by my loved ones has not waned. I am confident you feel the same way. For me, it is the spirit of giving that makes Christmas special. As the anticipation grows for Christmas Day, it is easy to become wrapped up in the craziness of the holiday season. It is a time for fun, laughter, and good times for many, but some find this festive season difficult and challenging. Luckily, I am blessed and find Christmas time enjoyable and refreshing. I love the Christmas season. The winter wonderland, the sharing of happiness and joy, and spending time with the special people in my life. Although there is no golf, I will take the time to enjoy some outdoor activities, visiting, and being grateful. For me, it is also the time to give back to the community and to share some of my good fortune by donating to charities, the food bank, and just smiling at those I might encounter. The spirit of Christmas is all around us and I for one am happy to embrace it.
As part of my holiday traditions, I watch the Little Drummer Boy. It does not seem like much, but this video is one of my all time favorites and I like to share it every year – enjoy!
