To be fair, there is likely not one quick fix you can do that will eliminate your slice. It must be completed in stages, but the fix happens quicker than you think. I could go through the step by step process of hitting a golf ball, but after the third step, you have likely stopped reading and moved on to something better. I know I do most of the time, so today, I am going to offer you one tip as a place to start and you can fix the domino effect of the fall out. It is something I continually work on in my game and when I have a handle on this error, I hit the ball consistently straight off the tee.
Continue readingKnowing The Rules Of Golf Is Important
I like to read different situations about the rules of golf. How the rules are enforce and interpreted can determine whether you win or lose a match. I came across one from Golf.com that was interesting. I immediately thought I knew how to interpret the rule and was happy to see that I was correct. I would have had the same discussion as the questioners opponent and claim the same result. Take a look.

Congratulations to JJ Spaun for winning the 2025 US Open Golf Championship. It was a crazy finish that was the survival of the fittest. It is hard to believe how challenging it was for the players to even make par. I was cheering for Adam Scott, but alas it was not his year. Regardless, JJ Spaun earned the win as he played the best golf down the stretch.

Now on to the Open Championship from July 13-20 from the Royal Portrush Golf Club in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is going to be exciting.
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!

Looking at the some of the crazy lies the professionals hit out of, I am thinking that if I broke 120, life would be good. I definitely could not play from the tips as I do not have the game for that type of distance. However, watching the professionals grind their way around Oakmont, three things come to mind that all amateurs should learn.
