Carrying My Golf Clubs

This year, I only carried my golf clubs for a few rounds. I found that the wet conditions seemed to make toting my sticks more difficult than normal. I actually missed carrying and will make a concerted effort to carry more in the spring and fall of 2021. This golf season has been very strange and not carrying is just another example of how 2020 through me for a loop.

Putter Grip Pressure – Is It Important?

How tightly we grip your putter is very personal. It really depends on your stroke and tempo when putting. Personally, I grip my putter with a loose grasp and keep it very consistent through my entire putting motion. There really is no right answer as to putter grip pressure, it is something that you have to decide for yourself. There are, however, some aspects of the putting stroke that are must be followed; yet pressure on the putter is not really one of them.

Golf Season Is Basically Over

It is that time of year when I look at putting my golf clubs away. The wet temperatures and cooler weather is the key indicator that it might be time to go through my end of season routine. 😦 😡 ^^’

Although my clubs are still in my golf locker, I mean my car, I think they are starting go gather dust from lack of use. It is a matter of time (very short in fact) before I pull them out, clean them, and store them for the winter.

How often can the topic of saving strokes be covered? I realize that many pundits are trying to find, develop, and sell the next best thing to quickly lower your golf score. Playing Great Golf and Finishing Out Of The Prizes….Sort Of!

Golfing in tournaments can be great fun, especially if you finish in the prizes. I mean why compete if you are not really trying to take home some hardware; right? The Sportspal 2-day golf tournament ended yesterday and our team finished 5th in the first flight. Blair and I played very well, but could not seem to show it on the score card. It was unfortunate, but overall we were very happy with our game. Unfortunately, we as a team, did not finish in the prizes, but that does not mean that one of us walked away empty handed.
