How important is being in play off the tee anyway? I mean, as long as I am not out of bounds, then hitting the fairway seems to be a luxury. I can whack my way down to the green just as quickly hitting out of the longer grass or edge of the trees and that boring player who hits off the short grass all the time. I think this is an overrated statistic and I am going to focus on other things. If you are the golfer I just described, then I suggest you need to read on because you are heading down the wrong path to improve your golf game.

If you are in pursuit of a better golf game, then change is something that must be part of your process. I know for me, it sure is and recently I owe a debt of gratitude to my friend Andre for advising me to step out side of my comfort zone. His sage guidance is already starting to pay off and I only see better things ahead in my golfing future.
3-Putting Is The Worst!
I hate to admit it, but I three putt from time to time. Yup, I know it is hard to belief that a four handicap player commits the cardinal mistake to three jacking on the green. It is a disgrace and I should be thrown off the course when I do! Well, that is how I feel in my head, but in reality I do not know of any golfer who does not three putt from time to time. The trick is not to make a habit of it and I believe I have accomplished that goal.
