Visual Cues to Better Chipping

Chipping is a difficult skill if you do not have a solid foundation. Though techniques vary from player to player, there are some fundamental similarities that all players should use. Over the years, I have worked tirelessly on my short game and it was not until two days ago that I realized I subconsciously had a visual cue that is critical to my chipping success. A Great Day on the Golf Course

Yesterday I hit the links for only the fifth time this year. As many of you know, my medical woes have severely limited my ability play, but I am grateful I have played this much. Blair and I got off to a rocky start around a half hour late thanks to some confusing texts. This was the worst thing that happened all day, so in the end, it was a very good day. Broken Golf Clubs

I have never broken a club intentionally or accidentally while playing golf. Although I have witnessed others break their clubs, I cannot even imagine the feeling of watching part of my club sail farther than the ball. The shock of such a sudden change in my equipment is not something I relish experiencing. Continue reading
