Want Lower Golf Scores? Here Is How!

The goal of most golfers is to shoot the lowest score possible when playing. If that is not your goal, then you probably do not keep score and loop the links for the shear joy of being in nature. Playing Golf After A Forced Lay Off

For the past month, I did not play any golf. Actually, that is not entirely true, I did play one stunted round last week that I will discuss later. Practicing At Osprey Links

I went to my old stomping grounds yesterday to sharpen up my game at their updated practice facility. The weather is starting to chance and we are looking at some high teens this week. That will remove most of the snow and dry out the playing area. After talking to Mike, GM at the course, he is remise to forecast when the course will be open and I respect him not blinking first. Regardless, we are so close to playing golf in my area.

Is there a definitive answer to any golf question? This seems like a pretty broad question, but it does drill down to the heart of any golf shot. Club selection is critical especially when we are trying to get up and down for par. There are many opportunities to make the proper decision for your game and even more to make poor ones. One of the biggest dilemmas golfers face is whether to chip, bump and run or putt a ball around the green. There are many factors, however I have a decision tree that I use in order to put the right club for the right shot at the right time. It works for me (most of the time) and it helps reduce the possibilities making poor club choices.
