I bet you were expecting something else from my daily musings than what I am indicating from the title. I bet if you did a quick search, you would be overwhelmed by the number of articles claiming they have the answer to everything. As you know, from reading many of my articles, I like to talk golf and most of my conclusions are things that work for me; and I like sharing my thoughts with you just in case they are helpful. How to Chip With Authority

Golf is made up of many different golf shots. Next to putting, I find that chipping garners the most strokes during my round. I have never actually counted (might do that for fun), but I know from my other stats that chipping is an important aspect of scoring well. Understanding this for some time, I dedicated a great deal of time at the beginning of the season to significantly improve my close to the green game.

A Different Golf Swing Almost Every Day

Have you ever noticed that your golf swing can change from day to day? Some days it is a smooth as silk and others we cut more wood than Paul Bunyan. I have no rhyme or reason as to the differences, but it happens. The good thing about knowing that our swing changes, I think it is important to be able to adjust my on course strategy to account for swing discrepancies. Using a 7 Iron To Lower Your Golf Score

The seven iron is a very versatile club because it can be used in a plethora of situations. I use this club quite often during around of golf as it has proven its worth over the many years of my playing. The one area I have found the most benefit is around the green, I use my 7 iron like a putter whenever possible so I can get the ball rolling to the hole soonest. I believe that I save two stokes around and that is a very good thing when you are a low single digit handicapper. Let me explain further.

Remembering The Right Things To Do When Chipping

After chipping 500 golf balls over the last five days, I am finally starting to remember what makes my chipping successful. After clanging, sculling, mishitting, and chili dipping, I am finally starting to feel like I am on the right track. I figure I still have another couple of thousand chips to go, but I am getting there!
