Bruce and I finally had a chance to play the final match of the Osprey Links Stroke Match Play Championship. After 4 previous matches, we both were ready to see who would be considered the Osprey Links Club Champion. We have played head to head before and it was a slug fest down to the last hole. I was confident that our match would follow the same format and hopefully the outcome would be different.

A Great Match Play Round by The Grateful Golfer
As you are aware, or not, I organized and I am participating in the Osprey Links Match Play Tournaments. The stroke and net events will determine the club champions and be awarded a parking spot for 2020 right beside the club house. It is a prestigious event and I have to say, the match I played yesterday was the most fun I have had in competition in a very long time!

Putting Green at Osprey Links Golf Course.
After some work, I was able to squeeze in my second Match Play of the week. Fortunately, this was the gross event and I did not have to give 11 strokes to my playing partner. Arriving early at the course, I practiced my chipping and putting. I have not played in a while, so I thought it was time to practice. I had time to chip with my 52º wedge and putt a few balls.
