The first day is finished and not surprisingly, Dustin Johnson is at the top of the leaderboard with an eagle on his 18th hole. Many of other notables are in the hunt, however there are many unknowns making their voices heard.

As I previously said, I am hoping for any Canadian to win this year and surprisingly it is an amateur, Jared du Toit, tied for third that is leading the charge for the Red and White!
