I did not get a chance to watch all of the golf today, but I have to give a shout out to Lydia Ko for winning the gold at this years Olympics. It is yet another milestone in her amazing career.

Olympic golf starts today! Starting with the men, players from 41 countries will vie for a gold medal in the hopes of bringing pride to themselves and their country. The debate about the value of having golf return to the Olympics after 112 years still rages on, but the fact is that Olympic golf has returned.

It is quite possible that many of the world’s top golfers who decided to opt out of going to Rio might second guess their decision, but that is a discussion for another day. Today, it is about the 60 players who did show up to go for the gold! It is those players we should support and focus our positive thoughts towards. Continue reading →
