Commonsense Etiquette for Pull Carts

Pull carts are very common on the golf course. I think I see more people pushing their clubs around the course vice carrying. However, this article will cover carrying etiquette as well. Many people think that because I am pushing their clubs that little to no damage can happen to the golf course. This thinking is folly and consideration needs to be given to your playing partners and to protecting the golf course. There are a few commonsense actions that all golfers should take and adhere. They are not difficult, but when followed will improve your overall experience for you and other golfers.

Golf Conundrum: Carry Or Not To Carry

This is a question that I often ask myself at the start of every golf season. I like to carry my golf clubs and generally do in the spring and fall of each year. I find it physically challenging to carry my clubs during the heat of the summer and so, I use my push cart during those days. However, it is a question that is often asked and I have found the definitive answer from The Golf Guru, Mark Crossfield! I hope his answer finally puts to bed this lingering question.

Carrying My Golf Clubs

This year, I only carried my golf clubs for a few rounds. I found that the wet conditions seemed to make toting my sticks more difficult than normal. I actually missed carrying and will make a concerted effort to carry more in the spring and fall of 2021. This golf season has been very strange and not carrying is just another example of how 2020 through me for a loop.

My New Clic 3.5+ Golf Push Cart

I finally decided to replace my 12-year-old Bag Boy push cart. It is held together with wire and some other repairs, but it is reaching the end of its life. So, just before Christmas, on my birthday, I decided it was time to conduct some retail therapy. I did my research and decided to purchase a Clic 3.5+ golf push cart.
