How To Improve Hitting Your Landing Area While Chipping

The landing area is probably the most important aspect of chipping once the ball leaves the club face. Hitting your landing area will determine the roll out, the line towards your target and club selection. There are many other factors that are affected by the proper landing area only if you hit your mark. In the past, I have set up grids with my irons to help improve my touch while chipping and it produced great results. Are You Ready To Hit The Links?

On any given day, our golf swing can be in top form or not. This bold statement (not really that bold actually, right?) is true for every player regardless of their skill level. One of the things I learned over the years of playing is that my warm up does directly contribute to my ball striking. No warm up, then it takes a few holes to get into the swing of things. 😉 If I take the time to warm up properly, which takes about 20 minutes, then I notice a significant improvement in my game at the start of my round. Why don’t I warm up evey time, will that is a question that I cannot really answer; it is a quandary for sure. Regardless, how I warm up is as important as actually warming up. Let me explain.
