Match Play format is suppose be the big equalizer in golf. It offers an opportunity for a player to rebound quickly if they have a blow up hole. Each hole is its own competition and each player has the opportunity to gain 0, half, or a full point. At the end of the round, we add up all the points and the player with most points win. Winning a Golf Tournament

5th hole at Osprey Links Golf Course
Yesterday was the final round of the 22 Wing golf play downs. This yearly event selects the top 5 male and top 2 female players to represent out Wing at the Ontario Golf Regional. This military event is one of many sporting events designed to build esprit-de-corps with the ranks of the Canadian Military. Although our field was very small, I made the team and will be playing in the Ontario Golf Championship in September. Continue reading
