Every golfer I know is excited when they purchase or receive new golf equipment. The possibilities are endless as they image all the great shots they are going to make with their new sticks. It is a euphoria that all golfers feel and rightly so. Unfortunately for some that feeling quickly evaporates and they are left wondering if they should go back to their old equipment. I would suggest that you stick it through as long as you making some inroads toward success. Regardless of what the manufacturer says, not all clubs have the same specs and not all clubs are created equal. Therefore, adjusting to your new equipment takes time and patience.

Mimicking A Golf Skill

With the advent of the computer and platforms that show amateur golfs how to play, many beginners forgo the requirement for lessons or at least they think they do not need professional help. This viewpoint might be true for someone just dabbling in golf, but for the avid player I would suggest that trying to mimic a skill off the internet without a reasonable foundation of understanding of the mechanics of golf is a fool’s errand. I know, after many many attempts, that some skills are duplicatable and others are nearly impossible to mimic. Which is which is rather simple to discern if you sit and think about the mechanics you are trying to master.

Many golfers think they hit the ball with the intent for success. I definitely try to set the conditions for success, however sometimes I fail miserably. The many challenges to hitting the ball perfectly for our swing each time are daunting. This momentous task is made easier but two simple steps that I found works for my game and will likely work for yours.
