When Is It Ever Going To Stop!

Good Morning grateful golfers! I hope you having a terrific Tuesday. Being 27 April, I did not think I would wake up to this:

I understand that Mother Nature has a sense of humour, but come on! Golf season cannot start with the white stuff still falling!

Regardless, I am going to improve my 3 foot space today. As well, I am going to embrace the joys of what this terrific Tuesday has to bring. I wish you all well and if nothing else, have a grateful day!

Is Grip Size Important?

The evolution of my golf game was slow and sometimes challenging. In my early years, I felt that off the rack equipment was well suited for my game. Therefore, I never really focused on the finer aspects of how technology could improve my overall game. That is until I decided to compete more and needed every advantage I could find to lower my golf scores. That is when I stumbled across the knowledge of how golf grip size was an important concept I completely overlooked. Well, not any more!

A Chipping Drill For All Situations

I have tried many chipping drills. Some have helped and others…..well, not so much. I do support trying to use the same chipping technique for most shots around the green, but switch clubs to achieve the desired results. I have tried many different drills to hone my chipping skills and I have found one that I use repeatedly throughout the season. It works well for short game and I think it will help yours as well.

The Best Way To Save Strokes On The Golf Course

It is that time of year where I start to formulate my plan to lower my golf score in the upcoming golf season. Of course, I am focused on sharpening my short game because over the years, that has proven the best way to sustain my current low scores. But, what do I need to do to this year improve my scores and to keep this improvement moving forward. As I watch the movie ‘Seven Days In Utopia’, I am reminded of the saying that “the first step to finding a good game is to find some conviction”. In other words, be a student of the game and be open to adjusting/changing/improving the areas that need improving. Well, I think I know the where my conviction lies this year and I am excited to get started.
