Winter Wonderland!

We golfers in the northern climes are housebound due to the crazy weather. We have to find a way to keep our game sharp and focused. Of course, without taking full swings, it becomes more difficult every day.

Over the years, I have tried different things to work on my game, but with little success. It seems I cannot simulate anything of significance in my basement. With Christmas only 9 days away, many people are rushing around preparing for Santa. This stressful time, for many, is generally unavoidable. Tis’ the season!

Yeasterday, Teri and I were reminded to take a breath and be in the moment. We took the unique opportunity to sit quietly at a butterfly conservatory and marvel at the beauty and tranquility all around us.

Being calm helped us notice the beauty of the moment!

As you experience your day, I hope you take the time to enjoy the beauty of your surroundings and share a smile with those you meet!

The Spirit of Christmas Upon Us

I love the Christmas season. The winter wonderland, the sharing of happiness and joy, and spending time with the special people in my life. Although there is no golf, I will take the time to enjoy some outdoor activities, visiting, and being grateful. For me, it is also the time to give back to the community and to share some of my good fortune by donating to charities, the food bank, and just smiling at those I might encounter. Tiger Woods is Back, Again

The long-awaited return of one of the greatest golfers of all time is set to make his return at HERO WORLD CHALLENGE, Albany; New Providence, The Bahamas.

Heeding the advice of his doctors and trainers, Woods didn’t rush his recovery, slowly regained his strength, muscle tone, stamina and endurance, and tweaked his swing.

It has been a long process that challenged his patience and work ethic more than ever before. But for the first time in 466 days, Tiger will return to competitive play Thursday in the Hero World Challenge at Albany in New Providence, Bahamas. The event features an elite 18-player field, including six of the top-10 players in the world ranking, and is hosted by the Tiger Woods Foundation.

Now that he is heading back to competitive play, the entire golfing world is wondering if he is here to stay!
