It Is Masters Week!

For the first time in many years I am excited to watch this year’s Masters. I have decided to delve into the world of predictions as in years past. This year it should be very interesting considering the rift in professional golf. There seems to be a nonsense story trending about the PGA and LIV and I can guarantee you that this will be the last I will talk about it. I am grateful for the 568,000+ visitors who deemed my musing worthy enough to stop by. But now it is time to do something more with my golf blog. As of yesterday, I have started a small experiment with the hope that it expands over time.

Johnny Miller and Vintage Golf Clubs

What we consider vintage clubs were the top of the line back in 1973. Well, for the most part anyway. “In 1973, Johnny Miller shot a final-round 63 to win the U.S. Open. Miller said, “It was the oldest set of clubs [in relation] to the year it was played on Tour in the history of golf.” A recent tweet from Brian Schneider gave an incredible insight into the clubs in Miller’s bag for that event.” If you think about it, a great swing makes up for what many perceived as poor technology by today’s standards. Well, I am not so sure about that!
