Most golfers have a set of golf clubs that they use day in and day out regardless of the course they are playing. I definitely fall into this category. I do not see a reason to change my clubs to suit a golf course because I do not feel that I hit the clubs not in my bag any better than the ones I already hit. I guess my narrow view on this topic is shaped by the fact that I did/do not consider this a viable approach to my golf game. I am not entirely sure I will adopt strategy, but it is something worth a discussion.
->Rule 16.3 – Embedded Ball Relief
In 2019, one of the major rule changes dealt with an embedded ball. Many players still do not understand this rule, but it is important to navigate what a player can and cannot do when their ball is embedded. I came across a great video involving Patrick Cantlay which goes through the steps required to take relief from an embedded ball. This rule is very important in my location because of the wet conditions in the spring and fall. I might be of help to you.

I have played my Mizuno MP 20s for two seasons now and it is time to trade them in for something better! You know, after two years and about 100+ rounds, there are no good shots left in them. There is one drill by Rick Shiels espouses that will help many players consistently break 90. This specific drill is one that I have used for years and have taught to many of my friends. I believe this drill should be in every golfers bag and knowing how and when to employ it is definitely a stroke saver.

The Senior Scramble at Osprey Links was a fantastic event. Played yesterday, Rick and I teamed up again in an effort to play well enough to be in the top prizes. We had plan of being more aggressive than normal because we felt this was the way to have a shot at the top prize. This is an event that we look forward to playing because of the comradery, fantastic food, and the chance of winning. This year Rick and I were confident that this was our year because we developed a great plan; the only thing left was to execute this plan.
