One of the major drawbacks for starting golf seems to point towards cost. I would agree that the initial start-up costs can be hefty, yet I am not convinced golf is really any more expensive that football or hockey. Both sports (and golf) require a certain amount of equipment before anyone can play in an organized fashion. Can You Hit a Golf Ball With Your Eyes Closed?

Have you ever tried to hit a golf ball with your eyes closed? This might seem like a crazy question, but there is great value in trying. I tried this very thing two years ago and I can tell you that the first attempt was anything but successful. I did make contact, but the results were well below my expectations.
At the time, my game was in the toilet. I was at a loss on what to do next and considered taking a week or two off, but then something happened on the range to lead to a break through.
Sponsor Exempt Player Shoots 54 Over Par
I am sure you read the articles regarding Julio “The Machine” Bell, (self-proclaimed) who received a sponsor’s exempt position for a Web.com Tour event and shot 93-105. Of course he missed the cut, however the plethora of remarks from the golfing world sparked my desire to comment.
The 2018 Masters
Is it too early to be thinking about the 2018 Masters. Generally, this is the time of year that I get anxious for the first Major of the golfing season.
