Every golfer I know is excited when they purchase or receive new golf equipment. The possibilities are endless as they image all the great shots they are going to make with their new sticks. It is a euphoria that all golfers feel and rightly so. Unfortunately for some that feeling quickly evaporates and they are left wondering if they should go back to their old equipment. I would suggest that you stick it through as long as you making some inroads toward success. Regardless of what the manufacturer says, not all clubs have the same specs and not all clubs are created equal. Therefore, adjusting to your new equipment takes time and patience.

I am going out on a limb here by saying that many new shiny golf clubs were resting under the Christmas tree just a few short days ago. These new tools were likely bought off the rack and considered stock clubs. I know this because I have received a few of these awesome gifts over the years. Unfortunately, I have a secret I need to share: if you think that because you bought a new piece of equipment your game will miraculously improve, then I hate to burst your bubble. Yes, we generally see some quick changes, but the long term success of our new kit still requires work and effort.
