Most golfers are natural ball hawkers. We are always on the look for a round treasure to either keep or share. In my case, I share most of the golf balls I find with Rick and Blair because I like to stick to my brand as much as possible. Additionally, I do not carry a ball retriever, but fortunately Blair does and from time to time, it comes in handy!

Saving The Cup From Damage
A while back, I asked several questions about golf course maintenance and how we as members could help protect our playing field. One question that was asked dealt with if the cup is being damaged more now that the pins are left in, than before when the pin was always removed. It is a valid question being asked all over because a person has developed an method to alleviate this potential hazard.

At the beginning of every golf season, I am amazed at how many golf balls I and my group can loose. Mostly, my ball decides to go for a swim and there is very little I can do anything about it. One would think that with such a potential for a loss, I would carry a ball retriever. However, I do not and have not had one for many, many years.
