Golf is a funny game. I bet at this very moment you are making a list or running through scenarios that support this statement. This crazy game is infinitely simple, yet extremely complex. It is not a game that can be force to create a different outcome, but a game that requires a steady, focused, calm demeanour to be successful. Chipping With My 7-Iron With Success

Lately, I have tried to improve my chipping around the green by using my 7-iron more. I have used my 7-iron a great deal over the past with good success, but I found that my success was streaky. I had a tendency go miss my line left and I could not figure out why. My alignment was good and my hand position was correct, yet my I missed left most of the time. It was troubling and now I think I have solved my problem.

How To Beat The Chipping Yips

During various times during every golf season, I develop a case of poor chipping. I am not sure it would be considered the yips, but needless to say it is very frustrating. With such a short season, I am always looking for ways to beat my chipping woes and return to the path of confidence that leads to positive results. Selecting The Right Club Around The Green

I often watch my playing partner select the same club for a variety of shots around the green. They generally used their pitching or gap wedge by manipulating their stance, hand position and ball position. They feel the most confident when playing their favourite club and think they are mastering their short game. I would suggest that they are introducing too many variables into each shot and as such will produce the consistent, quality shots around the green needed for low golf scores.
