Breaking 70 in the 2020 Golf Season

Regardless of your abilities, I think every golfer has a target score they want to achieve. They might not want to opening express their goal, but even in the back of their mind it is there. This year, I am taking a stand to break 70. This will be two under par at Osprey Links, but I think I have the game to do it. I think it is important to set goals it is time to get back into the swing of doing just that!

Can You Feel It! It is Just Around the Corner!

With only 24 weeks until Christmas, we in the northern climes understand that the cool weather and white precipitation is only 16 weekish away. There is no time to waste as I have a few more golf goals to accomplish before the end of our season some time in October. If I knew then what I know now, would I be a better golfer? If I knew 40 years ago what it would take to be a scratch golfer, I might have changed my approach to my game. Would I have practiced more? Would I have purchased better equipment? Could I have played with more intent of lowering my scores? Ah, if I only knew then what I know now!

Golf Season Is Just Around The Corner

With 36 days to go before opening day, my anticipation for playing golf continues to grow. Many of you in the warmer climes have dusted off your clubs and are hitting the links already. Of course I am jealous, but there is nothing I can do about it at this time. With snow banks over 6 feet high in some areas, indoor golf work will continue for the foreseeable future. One of the positive aspects of the having so much time on my hands is my ability to plan out how much golf I plan on playing this season. And believe me, it is going to be alot!

My 2018 Golf Report Card

Well, it is the last day of 2018 and I have to say that my golf game did not unfold as expected. I had high hopes for a fantastic season, but as you know I had other battles to fight other than lowering my handicap index. That is okay and I am not complaining.
