Have you ever thought that you are focusing on the wrong aspect of your golf game? I sure have over the years and to my demise. Yup, every player has on occasion travelled down the wrong path searching for the magic to lower our golf scores. I have found something that worked very well for me and has served my golfing needs for a long time. It deals less a particular stroke or technique, but a philosophy of lowering my golf scores in a consistent manner. I have mentioned it before, but I figure it is worth talking about because it will work for every player.

Intimidated By Your Opponent In Golf
Watching the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play yesterday sparked my curiosity. As I watched Dustin Johnson battle Brooks Koepka battle for the win, I wondered if either was intimidated by their opponent. Probably not because they are the tops in the world rankings. The challenge I have found during my journey was determining the type of player that best suit my mental and physical capabilities. Finding my inner golfer was a journey, but I think I have a handle on it now.
Continue readingHybrids Vs Irons The Same Old Argument
I am not sure how many articles I read regarding the discussion of whether hybrids or irons were best for the amateurs game. Many articles talk about ease of hitting, control, versatility, and overall performance. I am not going to rehash these discussions because I think you have read some of the same articles I have. I will however, recount my experiences over the past 10 years regarding the the use of hybrids and irons and why I have settled on my current set composition.
