Mimicking A Golf Skill

With the advent of the computer and platforms that show amateur golfs how to play, many beginners forgo the requirement for lessons or at least they think they do not need professional help. This viewpoint might be true for someone just dabbling in golf, but for the avid player I would suggest that trying to mimic a skill off the internet without a reasonable foundation of understanding of the mechanics of golf is a fool’s errand. I know, after many many attempts, that some skills are duplicatable and others are nearly impossible to mimic. Which is which is rather simple to discern if you sit and think about the mechanics you are trying to master.

Pitching The Golf Ball From Distance

Pitching the ball is a challenge from distance. Many of us hit more shots than we want from 40 to 60 yards. Understanding different shot options from that distance will go a long way to lowering our golf scores. The focus of today is the pitch shot from distance. The One Golf Focus For 2022

With the new year one day old, I think it might be time to start laying out my goals for 2022. I have many standard ones that include fitness, swing mechanics and course management; yet I have decided to dedicate more time and focus in one particular area that I believe will garner me the most improvement. Through the years, I have dedicate a fair bit to time to this area, but this year I plan to focus over half my time to one specific area with a close second being putting.

Pitching the golf all is a key part of any golfers short game. If you are like me, you miss the green at least 50% of the time on approach shots.
