The 2108 Masters – What a Finish!

Congratulations to Patrick Reed for winning The 2018 Masters and his first Major. At the beginning of the day, I had predicted he would not shoot very low and his lead was poach-able. Is Rickie Fowler Up Winning Again in 2018?

Approximately 2 years ago I predicted Rickie Fowler would have a break out year. Since he has played well and demonstrates sparks of greatness. His recent 61 on the last round of the Hero World Challenge has sparked the conversation all over again. I still believe is one of the top players on the PGA Tour, but I am not sure he is ever going to dominate the tour for a prolonged period. Continue reading

US Open: Moving Day and Beyond

Moving day at the US Open did not disappoint. I was waiting for some amazing golf and the third day at Erin Hills was it! The leaders kept making the knockout punch against their competitors and they all responded in kind. I found the seesaw battle of the top 10 finishers amazing; none of the players carded anything worse than a 68; with a 63 and 65 thrown in the mix!

If someone was tuning in for the first time this weekend and just looked at the scores, they would never think it was moving day at the US Open!
