Asking someone’s opinion is the greatest form of flattery. Most of us feel something positive when sought out to provide sage advice or thoughts on a particular topic. Recently, I asked three questions on Twitter and here is what you had to say. Continue reading

The Return of Tiger Woods
According to TigerWoods.com just over a month ago, Tiger Woods announced he would be returning to competitive golf. “……he hopes to play in the Safeway Open, Oct. 13-16, at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, California. Woods also intends to compete in the Turkish Airlines Open, Nov. 3-6, in Antalya, Turkey, and the Tiger Woods Foundation-run Hero World Challenge, Dec. 1-4, at Albany in the Bahamas. He will participate in the Tiger Woods Invitational presented by USLI, Oct. 10-11, on the Monterey Peninsula.
Jesper Parnevik says that Tiger is ready and is “flushing” the ball during practice. Parnevik also indicated that Woods is ready to play competitively. Having not played at the élite level since 2015 at the Wyndham Championship, it is difficult to judge if he is actually ready. Regardless, the golfing world is anxiously waiting for Woods return next weekend at the Safeway Open. Are you? Continue reading
The Extra Gear in Golf
Do you have the ability to step up your game for a short period in the attempts to improve your score? As I watch some of the pros focus on their rounds, it seems that, in some instances, they can reach deep and squeeze out the extra 25 yards off the tee or an extra 15 yards with their wedge on an approach shot. Tiger Woods is Coming Back, Again!
The golfing world is a buzz with the news that Tiger Woods plans to make his return to golf after a year of rehabilitation. His initial steps back to competitive play will be at the Safeway Open, Oct. 13-16, at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, California. Now the discussions will start on why, not whether, this is good for golf.
I am not the biggest Woods fan and I am a bit skeptical that his return will do anything for golf. I understand he has seemingly limitless star power, however his brilliant light will only last so long if he cannot win early in his return. Continue reading
An Amazing Golf Shot
I really do not have much today. On days like these, I like to hit the range and practice. Possibly play a round of golf with some friends. During the summer, just playing golf for fun helps to get my writing juices flowing. It is not a bad thing, just something needed every once in a while.
I hope everyone has a terrific Tuesday. If you cannot hit the links, here is something that will make you smile!
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
