I am not very good a picking a winner for professional golf tournaments. I know that many pundits like to dip their toe in the water with mixed results. It is not difficult to put my name on a potential champion because we do not have much to lose. However, for the players, the slightest mishap or poor choice could cost them the tournament.
So I asked who was going the win this weekend and this what everyone had to say:
Not surprisingly, I received other suggestions and the most popular is Rory McIlroy. After the first day, Dustin Johnson is tied for 6th and is 2 strokes back. But it is early and we can revisit the results on Monday.
The caboose at the end of my train of thought is that it is very difficult to win a golf tournament and maybe just as difficult to predict a winner.
What do you think? Who will win at Pebble Beach this weekend?
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
