Losing Interest in Golf for 2023

The time has arrived when my passion for playing golf has waned. I am not preparing for the offseason just yet, but it is time to start the transition. The fact that the temperatures have dropped to very cool and that it has rained for 3 days makes playing golf a no-go for me. I have not made any plans for improving my game….yet. I am not in the mental mood to focus on what happens in 6 months, so for now, I will continue to read and write about golf. In all fairness, I will continue to hold out hope for a hotish to sprint to the course, but the long term forecast does not offer hope. Regardless, it is this time of year where the seasons change and so must I.

Well, today is a lazy day. I will not be doing anything more golf than writing this article. Tomorrow, I will start to prepare some of my equipment for a long winter’s nap.

I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!

  1. Jim, sounds like you’re gonna need a mid winter week in Arizona or Florida. Last time I was in Sarasota in March, the place was flooded with Ontario license plates. You should join em and bust up that 6-month Rip Van Winkle!! Tee it hi in the sunshine!
