Pulling My Short Irons Left

A new challenge in my game has arisen. Over the past few rounds I started pulling my irons left. This anomaly is starting to cause me fits because my expectation is to hit the ball where I am without having to adjust my setup to aim right. I think I know what the problem, however I will have to experiment the next time I hit the links. As we do not have a driving range close to my home, I will have to take the time on the course to figure out what is happening. Unfortunately, this process is what is available to me right now and it does challenge my ability to fix swing issues.

A Grateful Day On The Golf Course

Playing golf is a passion of mine. This statement seems pretty obvious considering the name of this golf blog, however every once in a while I play a round of golf that heightens my gratefulness. It is as simple as playing your game and following the strategy you laid to win the match. This is what happened to me yesterday during the first round of the Mattawa Golf and Ski Resort Match Play event.

The Beauty Of Golfing

During my round yesterday I took the time to look around more than normal. The Mattawa Golf and Ski Resort has some picturesque locations and sometimes I forget to take them in when I am looping the course. During my early bird round yesterday, I stopped on the bridge crossing the stream that winds through the course. After taking a deep breath, I looked up and was surprised by the view. I am not sure it is breathtaking, but it sure has a great deal of beauty packed together in one spot.
