Par 3 Challenges Fixed With One Thought

Every golf course has holes that are easy and others that challenge even the best golf game. Playing many rounds of golf over the years, par 3s have always been a bug bear to my game. If I birdie one or two per round, then I knew great things were going to happen. My goal is to shot par at worst, but that did not always work out. As time progressed, I realized my strategy on par 3s needed to change and surprisingly, it worked!

Full Swing Analysis – It Is Not For Everyone

Trying to emulate a great golf swing is challenging to say the least. It is almost impossible for an amateur to look at a great players swing and say, I can do that no problem! This approach to golf is rife with pitfalls and rabbit holes. Similar to other golfers, I try to improve my swing through observation, knowledge, and experiment. Valuable Practice On My Short Game

I finally had time to hit the practice green and work on my short game. After about 15 minutes of chipping, I spent another 20 putting various distances and very few breaks. I was working on my setup, foot position, and aim points. After about 5 minutes of freelancing I decided to set up one of go-to putting drills. It works on my aim and distance control and forces me to focus on two important aspects of putting at the same time. Two very important aspects of putting the improves my making distance from six foot or less!

Having A Mediocre Round Of Golf

Walking off the course yesterday from my round I felt like I did not play my best game. I shot a strong score, but felt I left many strokes on the course. I was overjoyed with my game, nor was I overly disappointed. My emotions were in the middle of the road and it left me satisfied I played, but that is about it. I am not sure what I could have did differently to change my emotional state when playing. I seemed to be on cruise control when playing; not ideal for playing my best golf.
