My golf season was wright with ups and downs; as most of us experience. Through the 80+rounds, my driver and putter were the best clubs in my bag. They were my great equalizers during most rounds and during the last round of the Coldwell Cup this week, they did not let me down. They were steady clubs that set up the rest of my game for success.

Osprey Links Wins The Coldwell Cup

For the first time ever, Osprey Links won the Coldwell Cup. This is a home and home friendly with The North Bay Golf and Country Club is steep in tradition for senior players in the area. To win this event is a big deal for the seniors at Osprey Links and we finally have some bragging rights for a year.

The Coldwell Cup – A Local Tradition

The Coldwell Cup is a home and home tournament between the seniors at Osprey Links and North Bay Golf and Country Club. This two day event is all about bragging rights and to date, Osprey Links has not bragged; not even once. This year might be different and I am looking forward to playing today in the second day of this years event.

Looking for A 4 Hybrid

I decided to look for a 4 hybrid yesterday and even hit a few at Golf Town. They were all 22 degrees and had a stiff shaft. I set up in the hitting area with their launch monitor and began to bang away. Unfortunately, I have not hit balls in quite some time so my results were less than stellar. But, I did learn something!
