The last two rounds I have played out of the sand more times than I had in the previous 10 rounds. For some reason, my ball was a magnet to the beach and I have to say that I am not impressed, nor do I want to continue this trend. Generally, I am solid player out of the sand, but recently my up and down percentage is less than stellar!

Trips the Course Are Slowing Down
After 35 recorded rounds and at least that many not recorded, my trips to the golf course will slow down for the next two months. It was not how I planned my golf season to finish, but life things happen and so other priorities need to move to the top of the ‘to do’ list. It is no big deal and I will hit my goal of 80 rounds before the end of the year.

I had another round that leaves me shaking my head. At times I think I am on the verge of greatness and other times….well, lets just say I need to go back to the drawing board. I do not understand the difference in quality of play during one round, but it has happened again.

On Sunday, I was able to scoot out for a round of golf. It was a beautiful day and I fortunately the course was relatively empty so I walked on. At the 4th hole, I met up with my friend Fernando and we finished the 18 holes at a nice leisurely pace. Additionally, we met up with Tim and Ron on the 10th hole to round out our foursome. Overall, it was a great day for golf and I played with some fun guys. However, I did notice that I finished weak on both nines that did hurt my golf score.
