Missing The Same Shot Twice In One Round Of Golf
Yesterday’s round went as expected. I hit some very good shots; hit some mediocre shots; and hit some poor shots. The two poor shots I have in mind were set up exactly the same and I missed in the same way. I am very disappointed because these poor shots turned easy birdie chances to scrambling pars. This will be my first round of golf since last Thursday. The long breaks between rounds is nothing new at this time of year and I am glad to be heading out to play. We moved our tee times to around 0930 hrs now because of the cold, dampness, and possible frost warnings. It is going to be fun and I plan to work on two things and two things only.

What are the chances that you will lose 10 yards of distance overnight? It happened to me and I have to tell you that I am very disappointed. The loss of that much changes the way I need to play each round to ensure I can still score well. This happens every year and each time I am disappointed that I did not see it coming.

It is finally here, yesterday I played in the last Men’s Night of the year. It was a wet (big surprise) and cool, but loads of fun. We played rotating tees where we cycled through blue, white and gold tees. It was the first time played this format and we had a blast. Overall, last nights game was a good way to finish playing Men’s Night at Osprey Links.
