Yup, it is back. For some reason I am overswing and pulling my ball left. This swing hitch happens a few times a year and usually at the most inconvenient time. I know I am making all kinds of swing errors by the direction of my divot and the fact that my ball ended up in the woods a few times during my last round. 🙂 I have a sure fire fix for my swing woes and it does not take much time.

The evolution of my golf game was slow and sometimes challenging. In my early years, I felt that off the rack equipment was well suited for my game. Therefore, I never really focused on the finer aspects of how technology could improve my overall game. That is until I decided to compete more and needed every advantage I could find to lower my golf scores. There are many golf training aids on the market. Selecting the right one for your game is a challenge and sometimes detrimental. Over the years, I have used many aids and I have found three that have proven to help my game. One helps with putting, the other swing tempo, and the last is for alignment. During every round of golf I spend some time in the woods or hazard area looking for a golf ball. More often than not, it is someone else’s ball, but that is not really a problem when I play. We all hit wayward shots and assist others looking for their golf ball. It is not unusual for me to find several golf balls while on the hunt that I do not play or want to carry around. Usually, I toss them to my playing partners with out a thought. It is a great way to share resources and lighten my golf bag at the same time.

If you have ever tried to pick the right golf for your game, I am sure you were quickly overwhelmed by the selection, prices, and performance. I am confident you have hit at least a dozen different types of golf balls over the course of a year (or round 😉 ). I know I have tried so many different types of golf balls, I cannot even recall how many. However, I have settled on three balls and generally stick to them for my entire season. Before I get to into the balls I play, I have a couple of tips that might work for you when picking a ball to play.
