I have heard stories about players driving the ball to the green on a par 4. I know Kevin, who plays in Florida has talked about such opportunities, but I have never driven the green on a par 4. I know of a friend who shot a hole in one about 20 years ago on a par 4, but I still find it difficult to comprehend….until now!

Failing to Execute A Great Golf Plan
I generally have an idea of how I want to play each round. I sometimes focus on specific shots, but most of the time I try to maximize my skills to match the playing conditions. However, there are some rounds where I could not hit the broad side of a barn from six yards away. It is during those rounds that I fail (miserably) to execute my great plan.

Why Do You Read/Write Golf Blogs
I often wonder why golfers read or write about golf. There seems to be an innate need to speak out, gain knowledge and discussion their passion. You all know my story, if not you can read my About Me page for more, and you know what drives me to discuss all things golf. But, what drives golfers to seek out golf information on a daily basis. It is not that I am completely oblivious, but as producer of daily golfing topics, it is challenging sometimes to come up with a topic.

Originally, I was going to title this article “Fighting My Swing and Losing”. However, I realized that this in not inline with how I want to approach my golf game. Instead of focusing on the bad part of my game, I think I need to stay on positive path to improve my changes of lowering my golf scores. So, it is important that I remind myself that I need to focus on how to improve without focusing on the negative side of my poor results.
