That was the best golf I have seen at a Major on day 3 in years. Who would have predicted that there would be three tied at the top of the leaderboard with 9 players within 4 strokes. Moving Day At The Open
The dust has settled and the players show survived the cut are getting down to business. They even the players who are 9 stokes back understand that a low round of 64 or 63 will put them back into the hunt. So holding back is not an option today. Conversely, those at the top of the leader board will likely play an aggressive conservative approach to their round. Take advantage when they can and protect their score the rest of the time! Friday at The Open is the most important day of the third Major of the year. This is day that will determine who plays on the weekend and who goes home. Watching The Open
As I sit and recieve my chemo treatment today, I am watching The Open on my tablet. I am using The Open app to watch the featured 8, 9, and 10 holes. The coverage is very good and it provides a great overview of the course conditions and how Carnoustie is not as nasty as I had first thought.
