Golf is a sport that provides a tremendous opportunity to make amazing shots. You know the ones that go under a branch, over a tree, lands just shot of the green and rolls up to a tap in birdie or par! I am fairly confident that I have hit a few shots like that over the years, but they are few and far between. During each round, I hit a few great shots, a few poor shots (sometimes more than I would like 😉 ), and many consistent shots in play. I am sometimes accused of playing boring, down the middle golf that produces nothing spectacular, nor do I find myself in a tremendous amount of trouble. Fortunately for me, this type of golf is fun and very exciting sometimes.

Like many golfers, I have worried about how I looked playing golf. I wondered if my game was acceptable to hook up complete strangers. Because of my uncertainty, I would follow along with what others were playing even though I thought it was not the right shot at the time. If they hit the ball long, I would try and hit my ball long…..most of the time to my dismay. I would basically change how I played golf because I thought that it would be for everyone in my group. I am grateful for the day. I am going to create the day I want! Have a wonderful Wednesday!
I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!
How Important Is Your Tee Height?
The proper height of your tee when using a driver is critical! From time to time, I like to adjust the clubs I carry in my bag. For the longest time, I have carried a lob wedge instead of a 5-wood. After years of playing the same way, I think it might be time to make a change. I only use my lob wedge every few rounds (if that) and think, for the time being, I would use my 5-wood more than my wedge. Additionally, I could easily substitute my sand wedge for those shots. Therefore, making the swap sounds like a good idea.
