Aiming Each Shot Is Critical In Golf

I have talked about aiming each golf in previous posts. I used the Greg Norman view of ‘aim small miss small’! I hold to this approach and it works well for my game. I found a video by Rick Shiels that explains my exact process and think it is of value to all players. I do want to discuss why this process is very important and how taking the time to properly aim on every shot every shot.

Does One Shot Make A Difference In Golf

As I watch the games during ‘March Madness’, I am often struck at how one shot seems to change the momentum of a game. I know from my years of competing in various sports that one shot sometimes makes a tremendous difference in the outcome of a game. And, I bet you are wondering if one shot makes a difference in golf. I would suggest that it does; actually one shot could turn the tide of your entire round.

What Do You Carry In Your Pockets While Golfing?

Playing A Low Hook at Osprey Links Golf Course

Learning to play a low hook was something I never thought I would ever have need. Well, as it turns out this specialty shot is one that I use more than any other. Primarily because of the 10th hole at Osprey Links Golf Course. The main reason I need to extricate my ball from trouble with this shot is because I try to cut the corner on the dogleg left par 5 and usually jamb myself on the left side. My options are to hit a short chip to 175 yards or hit a low hook to within 100 yards. Guess which shot I prefer?
