Wow! It Has Been A Year Already

As many of you know, I am two time cancer survivor who went through an autologous stem cell transplant this time last year. It was quite an ordeal and today, one year ago, marked the slight improvement in my health after 10 chemo treatments in 6 days with an infusion of my own stem cells. It was a very low point, but a very happy one as well because we (my darling wife and I) clung to the hope of seeing improvement in my blood work. It was an ordeal for sure and I am bless to have had a fantastic support network, outstanding medical team, and an outlet to think of something other than the dark side of cancer treatments – that being The Grateful Golfer blog!

Trips the Course Are Slowing Down

After 35 recorded rounds and at least that many not recorded, my trips to the golf course will slow down for the next two months. It was not how I planned my golf season to finish, but life things happen and so other priorities need to move to the top of the ‘to do’ list. It is no big deal and I will hit my goal of 80 rounds before the end of the year.

Getting Ready for Fall Golf

Golf is a Crazy Game!

I had another round that leaves me shaking my head. At times I think I am on the verge of greatness and other times….well, lets just say I need to go back to the drawing board. I do not understand the difference in quality of play during one round, but it has happened again.
