When to Replace a Wedge

One of my most difficult decisions is when to replace one of my wedges. Of all my clubs, except my putter, my wedges are used the most. Mine are showing wear, but I am not sure it is time to try something new.

I have bought new equipment before and use a system that works without fail. I intend to follow it again, however for some reason I think I am leaving something out. Any advice you can give me would greatly appreciated! Continue reading

The Return of Tiger Woods

According to TigerWoods.com just over a month ago, Tiger Woods announced he would be returning to competitive golf. “……he hopes to play in the Safeway Open, Oct. 13-16, at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, California. Woods also intends to compete in the Turkish Airlines Open, Nov. 3-6, in Antalya, Turkey, and the Tiger Woods Foundation-run Hero World Challenge, Dec. 1-4, at Albany in the Bahamas. He will participate in the Tiger Woods Invitational presented by USLI, Oct. 10-11, on the Monterey Peninsula.

Jesper Parnevik says that Tiger is ready and is “flushing” the ball during practice. Parnevik also indicated that Woods is ready to play competitively. Regardless, the golfing world is anxiously waiting for Woods return next weekend at the Safeway Open. Are you? Continue reading

During this year’s Ryder Cup, there were three things that made the difference: the Captian’s, the singles matches, and the interaction between player and fans. Each played a significant role as to why Team USA played to victory! Continue reading

The 2016 Ryder Cup – Wrap Up

Congratulations to Team USA for winning the 2016 Ryder Cup. It was their first win since 2008 and they finally executed as advertised.

I am not sure if you watched the 12 singles matches, well I sure did. I missed most of the two previous days, but Sunday was my day to fully immerse in all things Ryder Cup. As I watched the emotions rise and fall like the tide at the Bay of Funday, I was struck by the intensity exhibited by every player. Continue reading
