Using All Our Clubs Regardless Of Results
Ideally, we would spend many hours at the range perfecting each club in our bag. This is the sensible approach and generally produces some great results. However, many players do not have that kind of time and as such have a tendency to rely on specific clubs to navigate their round. Personally, I try to use all my clubs as the situation arises; but not everyone I play with does on a regular basis. They chose the least frustrating path of using only specific clubs regardless of the situation.

This is a question I ask myself as I started to reread the rule book before starting my Level 1 rules course. After the revamping of the rules in 2019, there is a hold over rule I would like to see changed. I think that with a slight modification, it would greatly enhance an amateurs ability to score will on the links. It is Rule 4.1b.

Of course, that does not always happen, but I believe have all the legal number clubs in my bag is better than not having them. I figured that since I have read them, that I would remember some of the nuances of each rule.
