I was invited by my friend Serge to visit him in Ottawa to attend the Ottawa/Gatineau Golf Expo last Friday. Missing the golf show in Toronto, I decided this was a great opportunity to visit my friend and to attend one of my favourite events. I packed up the car on Thursday, drove 3.5 hours to Serge’s place, stayed the night and headed to the expo for noon on Friday. Toronto Golf Show Part 1
What a day! For 4 hours, I was immersed in nothing but golf at the Toronto Golf Show. It was a great day and the 8 hours of driving was definitely worth it.
If you were following my adventure, we started out at 7 am in the rain and it followed us for the first 2.5 hours of the first leg of our trip from North Bay to Toronto. Heading to the Toronto Golf Show
The Toronto Golf & Travel Show does not generally disappoint. It is a mecca of golf for three days at the International Centre by Pearson International Airport! With 100s of booths, there is something for everyone. This will be my fourth year in a row heading to this great event and I am stoked to start my trip.
This year my buddy Blair is making the 3.5 hour drive, one way, with me to take in his first golf show. We are leaving at 0 dark 30 to get there before the gates open at noon.

We enjoyed talking to people from Golf PEI, Golf Association Ontario and Golf Canada. We were there early before the crowds and lasted about 2.5 hours. Continue reading
