Justin Thomas was another of recent golf professionals who have had enough of boisterous fans stepping over the line. The slow increase in rowdiness by the gallery at golf tournaments is grating on some professionals and they are having fans removed. Unlike other sports like team football, hockey and baseball, golf is a supposed to be a gentlemen’s game where focused heckling should not be tolerated. Except for the 16th hole at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, fans are expected to maintain a certain level of decorum while on the course. Phil Mickelson is a fixture at the Ryder Cup. This 47-year-old professional golfer is once again demonstrating why he would be a perfect selection for the 2018 Ryder Cup. His record through the years demonstrates that he is a tenacious competitor and as a senior elder on tour; will provide the leadership Team USA needs to repeat as champions. I realize it is a bit early to start pointing towards team players, but I like to live on the edge and make my predictions early.

Digging Your Ball Out Of The Cabbage
I know it is hard to believe, every once in a while I hit a wayward golf shot. My ball leaves the fairway, much to my dismay, and ends up in the cabbage. Usually after a short look and a foot wedge I miraculously have an awesome lie. The times when my playing partners are in range, I have to make a magical shot out of tough lie.
