The Open Championship – Are You Excited?

With only two days before tee off, I am excited to watch the world’s best play in The Open. Carnoustie will challenge, above all, the world’s great players mentally. This course is a best with cavernous bunkers, rock hard fairways and a course that requires a Sherpa. Happy Canada Day!

The first of July is special to all Canadians.

Its Canada’s birthday.

Canada is 151 years young! As a Canadian, I have so much to be grateful for; I believe that Canada offers more to its citizens than any country in the world. We are not the biggest, richest, nor most influential, but in my opinion, we are the best! After spending 35 years of my life protecting this great country, I still marvel at its majestic and pristine beauty.

Happy Canada Day!

I am a grateful Canadian!

Happy Memorial Day 2018

Memorial Day is special in the USA. It is a national holiday designed as “Remembrance of American soldiers who have died in military service.” As a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces, I want to salute my “brothers in arms” and take time to remember those who have given their lives for our freedoms.

Please take the time today to remember those who have fallen and thank a serving member or veteran.

I am a grateful golfer! See you on the links!

Like previous years, I went with no expectations, but a positive attitude to just enjoy myself. And that is exactly what I did, had a great time and loved the day. However, like a true student of the game, I was focused a few things to set a strong foundation moving forward. Continue reading
